In March 2007 a local group of volunteers
put up over 60 bird boxes, to help our feathered friends.
Surveys were carried out from April
to June 2007 and around 18 boxes were used. Not every
nest was successful, but that is sadly natures way.
In 2008 the surveys continued.
In November 2007 and January 2008 the boxes were all
cleaned out with some moved to new areas and modified.
The 2008 survey completed in June 2008 with many nests being successful.
The project is to continue in 2009. From March to June weekly surveys will be carried out.

document all the highs & lows through out the
season.
